As everyone knows YouTube is a very popular Web video sharing site that lets anyone can freely upload and view videos for private or public viewing of up to 2 GB in various format at different resolutions (Standard to 1024p HD).The youtube video experience is good by itself but we even got some cool tricks to make the video experience even more better:
1. Link to a certain part of a video
Suppose you want to link to a video and want to make it start at a specific time, say 20 seconds late, all you have to do is move the Seek-slider to 20 seconds and pause the video. Then right click the video and click ‘Copy URL at current time’. The URL will link to that certain part.
2. Stop Videos from Loading
Suppose you are viewing the details, description or comments of a long video and not the video. Your system will download the full video even if you have paused the video. To stop the download, right click and choose ‘Stop Download’ (Yes, you saw it while testing the previous trick).
3. Add YouTube buttons to your site
Get some cute buttons to support YouTube from the ‘Creators Download‘ page in YouTube. Here is a button : Subscribe to me on YouTube
4.Get YouTube videos you already saw (in Firefox) without using a downloader
Boot up Firefox and then type ‘about:cache’ in the address bar. Find your Cache Directory and then navigate to it. Then find a large file (videos are probably larger than any other files) and add the extension ‘.flv’ to it (Don’t use anything else). Now you can open it with programs like VLC Media Player.
5.Watch only the Video and Remove regional limitations
Ever wanted to watch a video and found out that the video had regional restrictions ? Well now you can ignore them. And you can see the video in full mode.
To do this, first find the URL (Web-address). It will look something like : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1EJpASDKKo . Now remove watch? and replace = with /. Now it should look like : http://www.youtube.com/v/B1EJpASDKKo . Hit enter and you will see that the video has maximized, there are no comments, ratings etc, and there are no regional restrictions !
6. Autoplay an embedded video
Normally when you embed a YouTube video and load the page, the player is loaded and it sits there waiting for you to hit the play button. You can make the video play automatically by adding ‘&autoplay=1′ to the url part of the embed code.
7. Loop an embedded video
Append ‘&loop=1′ to make the video start again without user intervention after it reaches the end.
8. View videos in 3D
This is a new feature added by youtube, It allows you to watch youtube videos in 3D. The uploaded video should have been taken from both right and left angles so that it will work as 3D. Of course you should need a 3D glass to view that.
To view the youtube video in 3D, add &yt3d:enable=true to the end of your youtube video URL on the browser address bar and Enjoy the 3D video wearing the 3D glass.
9. Repeating YouTube videos automatically:
if you enjoy listening to music videos on YouTube and want to play it on the background while you're working or surfing the Internet, just follow this URL format to make the video repeat by itself.
Original YouTube URL: www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1EJpASDKKo
Remove watch? from the original URL. Remove the equal sign ( = ). Add forward slash ( / ) after v. Add &loop=1 after the video ID ( hPhFc6GqVdU ). And it should look like this:
Repeat video URL: http://www.youtube.com/v/B1EJpASDKKo&loop=1"
10.Posting your video as private:
This process should be on top of your list when uploading a video on YouTube. You wouldn't want to give your audience an unfinished video while YouTube is uploading it to their server. Once your video is uploaded, don't forget to configure the privacy setting as public.
11 Adding a link in the description box:
This area is very important because it is another way you can promote yourself aside from your video. You can add links into it that points to your website and social network profiles. Make your links clickable by typing the complete website address or URL, what I mean by complete is you add http:// before www, like this:
12. View high quality videos
Youtube gives you the option to switch to high quality videos for some of the videos, however you can check if a video is available in high quality format by appending ‘&fmt=18′(stereo, 480 x 270 resolution) or ‘&fmt=22′(stereo, 1280 x 720 resolution) for even higher quality.
13. Bypass Youtube Regional Filtering
Some videos are only available in certain parts of the world. Your IP Address is used to determine your location and then allow or deny access to the video. Change the url from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=
14. To know the friends of any Youtube user
Some Youtube channel authors disable the friends list in their channels. But you can find the friends list using this URL. Just replace the username with any Youtube username to whom you want to know friends list.

Youtube doesn’t allow you to share any hyperlink in comment section but if you like any part of the video very much, then in comment section type the time of the particular video. It automatically comes as link in comment for your videos.
For example, In a 2 minutes video, if you like the part at 1:13, then type in the comment as 1:13. Once you posted your comment, the time automatically becomes as link. When a viewer clicks on the time link, he can automatically watch the video from the time 1:13.
19. Submitting video response
While submitting your videos as video response to other video or even in your video,
Do remember, you can submit a video only once as video response. If you submit the same video into many places Youtube will take it as a video response to only the last video to which you submitted as video response.
In new Youtube design the video response will be here source: (http://youtube.com/blog) Eg: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_Gzg6-W2Q4
